Portal 2
Aperture Experimental Labs
This puzzle-heavy map is set in multiple conjoined rooms to make it appear like the clean facility from Portal only with a lot of the new features and textures (gels, funnels, etc). It's designed to start of relatively simple but get much more challenging as you progress.
Triplex
Status: The Hex: solved by KennKong after 11 days The Dancefloor: solved by HeadShot after 4 days The Big Top: solved by Jacu & flatmate after 12 days Full solution video is: here Since Triplex is my third map I decided to go with a theme of "three". You'll find three main rooms, each containing a very challenging puzzle. While each part of the map should be genuinely tricky, you do have some flexibility as to the order in which you choose to tackle them. Rest assured that no super-ninja moves are required and the map should be completely solvable on any equipment. Rather than lightning reflexes, you will need careful thought and an appreciation for geometry. Compared to my previous map Encode, Triplex has far fewer moving parts and should be more constrained and less prone to unintended solutions. Overall I suspect that it is also more difficult but only time will tell! I hope you enjoy it. v1.1: bug fix for hex room v1.2: minor tweaks v1.3: fixes for unintended solutions v1.4: fixed timing problem in Hex (this is mistakenly labeled v1.3 in-game) v1.5: another timing fix for Hex plus some cosmetic stuff v1.6: fix for laser feed into big top
[SP] Laser Minimalism v1.0
This map consists of three small laser puzzles. I hope that they are original, fun and challenging. Screenshots: http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/59581 ... F1738A1B9/ http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/59581 ... 3DE001C80/ http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/59581 ... 52EE0B577/
Bridges to a New Tomorrow
Four test chambers focused on hard light bridges and the different ways they can be used. I currently have all four test chambers playable and detailed, so the map is more or less done! Thanks to all of you who helped. Go download version 08 now and enjoy 20-30 minutes of fun portalling. Enjoy! eco_leaf
Well, here it is. sp_eco_Leaf is my contest entry. (Duh.) I tried to use the layout and architecture to draw the player's attention to certain puzzle elements, (and sometimes away from them...) sp_eco_leaf has five chambers, and almost all of them can be finished with more than one solution. There is one minor secret area that none of my play testers found, but most of you should be able to find it. Have fun!
Double Gubble
A clean, disorientating, 2-parter of medium/hard difficulty.
the-exit
This is my first co-op map that I created. In this map you must find the way to open the exit. Should not die or do the first test(in 1st) again. You have to manage gel to do what you want.
Sp_reconstruct
Even in the mits of a light shortage GLaDOS will make sure testing can happen. In this sequenced puzzled fly through the air to solve the very puzzle the GLaDOS is fixing.
