[SP] Additional Chapter 8 Tests
Here it is release version 2.0 of Wheatley's Gel Chambers (formerly known as Untitled Gel Puzzles) (STILL needs a better title!) UPDATES: Changed Music to ch8 music changed boxes to monster turret boxes (except in area 2 because the monster boxes aren't affected by gel) fixed panels in area 3 added a TON of signs and marks to help you along fixed a visible nodraw surface hope you like it better this time Style: Wheatley (except I used normal boxes) Difficulty: Hard Size: 3 Chambers Pace: Medium also: there is a cool ratman's den secret mapmakers room between between chambers in the BTS areas, like on OSTCSA. See if you can find it =) Focus on using blue gel with lightbridges in ways not seen in any of the valve maps or any of the community maps i've played, and a chamber centered around the clear gel. I intended to haev actual Wheatley lines in this.. I recorrded some new ones myself and wanted to try them out on the map. But they wouldn't work. I could load them into hamemr and play them but when it came to the map I got an error saying the sound could not be found on disk or something like that. I looked this up on the forums and they say you need to package it into a .vpk. I know how to use the .vpk tool but I don't know how to actually impliment it in the game, whether I need to package it with the map and all or whether I can have a standalone .vpk with just the wavs. So, for now it uses Game_texts to help you on your way.

My tweaked version of the stock arrival_departure_transition_ents.vmf instance that lets you change the opening title, subtitle, and end level on-screen text or disable them. After placing this in your map, open the properties of the instance to set the following options: $subtitle_boolean_toggle -Default value is 1 (0 disables) -Determines if the $chapter_subtitle is displayed at the start of a level $endtext_boolean_toggle -Default value is 1 (0 disables) -Determines if the $end_text is displayed at the end of a level $title_boolean_toggle -Default value is 1 (0 disables) -Determines if the $chapter_title is displayed at the start of a level $chapter_title -Default value is(without quotes) "chapter title here" -This is the text that is shown at the beginning of a level $departure_video -Default value is blank -Use this to add video to the exit elevator scene $chapter_subtitle -Default value is(without quotes) "subtitle title here" -This is the text that is shown at the beginning of a level under $chapter_title $end_text -Default value is(without quotes) "You Win Science!" -This is the text that is shown at the end of a level $arrival_video -Default value is blank -Use this to add video to the entry elevator scene
Chapter 2: The Catacombs
Welcome Back Test Subjects, This is the second chapter to the series "The Untold Truth". This chapter introduces the characters that will be seen throughout the series. As mentioned before in Chapter 1: The Escape, I do not tend to give hints and by hints I mean the blue/orange indicators. This map is not for people who want a challenge. As much as I wanted to make a challenging map, I wanted to introduce the environment along with a story plot to the people who are interested in seeing how my story turns out. So once again, this map is not challenging what so ever, if you thought Chapter 1: The Escape was easy, this is easier, but as stated, this is only the beginning. I promise to make challenging maps to go along with the story and Chapter 3 should be the map to uphold that promise. I lack the skills for Hammer, but story is another thing. If you are interested in this story and would like to help, PM me. This story is lacking the skills, and I hate to waste this story with my knowledge of Hammer, so I'm thinking about halting these chapters, unless people say otherwise. If people want to see this story continue, I promise to put more effort into these maps, and maybe at the end, I can polish it up alot as one full download. Let me know what you guys think. Antimatter One.
A new Puzzle Element to Portal 2. Antimatter Edgeless saftey spheres, and Antimatter Edgeless safety sphere interception fields This is the completed map! Known issues - You can spawn more then one sphere at a time, that will be looked at when i get better with instances! other then that, go play the map and tell me what you find! Update 9999: Polished up the map a little, added lines for glados and introduction text Update 9999: Fixed some minor bugs, and an epic shortcut. Last chamber should be solved as planned now

Rememeber from singleplayer how cave johnson was working on phasing out human testing? Well if he had succed it might look something like this. Head through Aperture as Atlas and P-body guided by lines of text that go by the name of Robert. Everything but the spawn and end rooms level choosers portal guns and you is old fashioned.
