Lost In Transition
Atlas and P-Body get lost in the transition between test chambers and they must find their way back to Glados and her test chamber. This is the third map that I have ever created and I thought that I would go all out on this one. There are three rooms in this map, and I have uploaded each room as its own file to reduce lag and allow players to stop after each room and continue later on if they wish. I would rate these puzzles as hard to solve and if you and your partner are looking for a challenge then this is the map for you, and you should expect to spend a while in this map. Play instructions: Unzip the maps from the archive and place all three in your Steam/steamapps/common/portal 2/portal2/maps folder. Both players have to download the maps. Start a normal co-op game and whoever is hosting (the Blue Robot) type in "changelevel mp_coop_lostintransition" in the console (which is activated by the ` key under ESC. The rooms should end and load automatically, but if they don't or if you would like to start at a different room then enter in the name of the room you would like to start at. I would like to thank those who tested my map for their help: RockeTek, SofaEater, Roksonixx, and Karmatoe. Please Give Feedback on what you thought of my map. v1.1 - Fixed minor bugs, fixed unintended way to solve last room, and changed second rooms looks a bit. v1.2 - Made it so that you no longer have to backtrack for the cube in the third room. v1.3 - I added 1 more second of time before panels go down, and I have added a sound to beep .8sec before the panel goes down. v1.4 - Fixed Minor things in first room. On Third room I made it so you can't fall behind panels, and made them a little wider. v1.5 - Added some placement helpers, and added some effects and looks. P.S. I like watching the videos of my maps.
SPLIT
This is my second map that I have ever created, for anything. It separates each partner from each other, and they must help each other out to advance through the map. It is not the most challenging map because this was mostly to test new things I am learning in the editor, and this is me trying to implement them into my maps. Play instructions: Unzip the map from the archive and place in your Steam/steamapps/common/portal 2/portal2/maps folder. Both players have to downloaded the map. Start a normal co-op game and whoever is hosting (the Blue Robot) type in "changelevel mp_coop_split" in the console (which is activated by the ` key under ESC.
mp_coop_blueblock
Atlas and P-body face a new puzzle that looks quite easy at the first glance. All they need to do is find a way to stop pumping repulsion gel. But to solve the problem they have to take a slightly different direction. !FIXED VERSION! If you have old version, please replace your bsp with that instance.
[Coop] Lessons Learned
In this single test chamber, it will test your ability to maintain your portals. This test does not require quick timing or any advanced portaling techniques. However, it will take good team work to make it to the exit. I meant for this to be a quick build and release rather then attempting to spend weeks on the details. I have other maps I'm working on for that. So for now, enjoy this quick chamber. A box of dimensions - Appetizer
This is a one of tha maps from my soon to be released "A box of dimensions" coop campaign. It was supposed to be the first part but because of some technical difficulties i isolated it into this. Update : forth and last version, all glitches fixed. (version 3 was completely broken) Its a 2 test chamber map with the second chamber being the highlight. it uses world portals and is particularly difficult.
It's Different
3 Maps for you and your friend! Can you solve it? Good Luck! first one was my test map but made a pretty big map out of it, my second map is short and a little easy in my opinion and my third map is in open space which didn't turn out as I wanted it to be, but still a nice map to play with! oh, and in the beginning of map 3...it's not a bug/error! some pictures!
DaMaGepy map #1 FINAL (non-contest version)
DaMaGepy's map #1: ball / cube practice This is a reworked version of my previous map, that I made for the contest. Have a completely different ending, will load next part of the map if available. Fixed all bug, replaced things, added hints... For latest version, screenshots, source code for hammer (for mapmakers) and map #2 beta download, check: http://heroes.hardwired.hu/-/portal/portmap.html Update: Some custom texture has been added, and a cube friendly sign near the firs portal cleanser, so player will know that it will not kill the cube when walking through
Purgatorio 01
A single co-operative test chamber and my first. This is also the first map i've ever made to completion, this single co-op chamber should not be too hard to beat for anyone with a good sense of lateral thinking (or sign reading). This is the product of a bet I made to myself to be able to finish a map properly and will hopefully be the first of many. This test chamber is set in the ruined Aperture facility and revolves around the Aerial Faith Plate, Repulsion Gel and Excursion Funnel, among others. Compared to the later co-op test chambers this isn't too hard, but good luck anyway! (So named for Dant?'s Inferno) http://www.youtube.com/v/SRJUQxQ06RY&hl ... &version=3
