@Arachno Coincidentially I already have a reskinned cube that looks like what you want (mine emitted a solid-to-cubes force field when it was set down). Send me a PM.

Hopefully I can get someone to help me get the void cube to have it's own skin (Black cube with glowing white cracks)

And then a screenshot.

Thank you! They are both related, but happen at different times in the story. Like, REALLY different times.

It's beautiful. I can't wait to see what you're going to do with it.

It looks like a train made in "Propper" or a ported train model in an instance?

Train made of Brushes with some custom textures, the only models are the wheels and these electricity things on the roof ^^

Oh, OK. I've tried to make a pointy tree out of brushes with no success. I just never get it right. (You know that models are cheaper, right? But not everyone can use Propper).

Just make a new block (Take the cylinder) and type 5 in the field, and now make 3-4 new blocks (Take triangles from the list) type 5 in the field. And now just put them together ^^

I'm making what could easily be the weirdest map on the workshop. It's meant to be weird, unnatural, creepy, and visually displeasing.

The outside The inside, a weird place

Wait, weren't you saying it was going to be different from the other maps on the Workshop?

The inside, a weird place For some reason I'm getting a Stanley Parable vibe from this...it certainly looks, um, interesting.

First chamber of Gephyrophobia (fear of bridges)

Thoughts?

Oh, and I wanna make a bottomless pit with fog but I don't want the fog to affect everywhere. I just want the bottomless pit to be foggy, not the rest of the area. Is that possible?

Nice Pics man  , as from a general thought i would say to add a little more of texture variation to the wall that has the observation room in the first pic, and the wall on the 3rd, and the fog entity will affect the whole map, and (as far as i know, i would love to know if has a way to do it  ) it not can be confined in to one space.

You could maybe creatively use particle systems. There's some nice fog ones that come with the Super 8 interactive trailer map.

Also, you could use a trigger_look, so when the player looks down the pit, the fog changes.

Search the "skybox" textures in the texture browser. There should be some overlay textures that show up dark blue that you can use as a gradient as an alternative to fog.
