A single coop test chamber that requires at minimum 15(?) portals to complete. A coop partner who has completed both the single player and the coop initiative is recommended. Test chamber includes: aerial faith plate, button (untimed), redirection cube, hard light bridge, discouragement beam, and emancipation grids. When completed, the map sends you back to the Hub. (Or, it should) Installation instructions: 1. Create a folder in 'Portal 2\portal2\' called addons. *If you have the Sixense MotionPack DLC, you will most likely have to create the folder in 'Portal 2\portal2_sixense.' 2. Place your .VPK file inside the addons folder. 3. If Portal 2 was running during step 2, type the following in the console: update_addon_paths. Otherwise, skip to the next step. 4. To load a Co-op map, start a Co-op game with your friend, once you enter the hub type in console: changelevel mymap replace mymap with the name of your map. (EDIT: the name of the map is mp_coop_btmap1_rc should have specified earlier) (EDIT2: Added a readme file with basic information)

This map is my first real attempt at creating a semi-releasable map. I'm still working on it, but this is the majority of the map. The end of the map is if you get a cube on the button in the first room - I actually haven't made an exit yet. Lazy, I know. Known issues: * There is no exit. Not a problem... I'll just make an exit. In the next version. For your test.

Run this from your portal 2 or portal2 folder and it automatically make entries for custom maps that are placed in your maps folder. This is a work in progress as I am thinking of extending this to a map manager but time is working against me (exams and such) and I must therefore cool down the development. This is a working version though and written in Java and therefore very easy to run even on macs (not tested though). If bugs are found (and they will be) please do post them here. Thanks

Versatile Diversity

A small map which re-introduces Pneumatic Diversity Vents to Portal 2. The tubes are coloured blue to avoid confusion with other tubes, there's an extra special bonus puzzle beyond the video areas, the indicator strips have been given my own twist, and there's 3 new mechanics using the tubes: the Discrete and Continuous scanners, and the Redirectors. The Discrete scanners require a certain number of things to pass through them to activate, Continuous scanners continuously need things to be in them to activate, and Redirectors change the direction of the tubes. This map was originally part of the E3 Complete Pack, but since it's more of a showcase than an actual level, I decided to release it on its own. Expect more maps using these mechanics fully in the future. Notes: Valve could not have built a worse model for getting stuck with those bots, but don't worry. I have made precautions against it, but even if the bots do get clogged, the level can still be completed. And you know the drill: extract the ZIP to C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Portal2\Portal2\Maps, start up Portal 2, type "map Versatile Diversity" into the console, and play away!

My first map for any Source game. 3 chambers centered on combining two specific puzzle elements (I wonder which two those might be?). Map is pretty WIP; there is almost no detail, although the puzzles are fully functional. I think the last puzzle might be too hard. There are also 4 "pseudo-achievements" which can be found by completing rooms without using certain puzzle elements.
