This map is all about lasers (and other stuff ofcourse). Dont worry its nothing as crazy as my other maps. Infact, this map is a bit on easier side.It doesnt have tons of turrets, no crazy flinging nor does it have gigarooms (ok maybe one). But players will have fun playing this map and it is also designed to make you feel smarter. HDR Enabled As always, report any bugs or shortcuts on the forum. I would also like to see a video of the playthrough. Update#1 - Changed laser grill to emancipation grill - Some bug fixes - Added an indicator telling the player where to start. Enjoy!

Well here it is. My 1st map created for Portal 2 or any game as a matter of fact. Fairly short map that shouldn't give you much trouble. Welcome to state of a dream... (Updated v3.1) Installing the sp_simulacra. 1) When you open the archive, there are two folders. One of them is "maps" and another one is "materials". 2)First copy content of the "maps" folder (there is only one file there - sp_simulacra.bsp) and paste it here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\portal 2\portal2\maps 3)Copy all texture files from "materials" folder and paste it here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\portal 2\portal2\materials 4) Run Portal 2, on console type this without quotes "map sp_simulacra" and press enter. About Simulacra: Gametype:Singleplayer. Genre/Theme: Abstract. Gameplay: Trial and death.

This map contains two parts. For some reason the mapchange does not work, so you have to load the other map via console. Begin with mp_coop_fateagle_1. I appreciate feedback!

I'm having a few difficulties progressing with this map, so, really, this upload is also a cry for help. Firstly, I wanted to add a second area to the map, like most of the coop maps in game, but I can't find a instance for those half-way checkpoint rooms; or even a way to set a new spawn point. How do you go about doing this? As it is, this upload of the map does not have the second area at all, as I don't want to frustrate players if they die in the second half, with no access to it. What do you think? I still need to detail the tiles, but since this is now at a playable stage I decided to upload it to the WIP section. Thanks in advance for any feedback; it's greatly appreciated.

Not really an ordinary test chamber, but a challenging course that requires some good reflexes and agility with the portalgun to complete. This is my first map, so be kind =D. The level hes been tested by some people i know and they considered it playable. For the ones that are really stuck and have already considered every possibility, i have posted a demo video on youtube a walktrough of the map. However, all sections can be solved by simply looking at the signs and I recommend doing that first. Good luck, and please do leave some comments to help me improve my mapping! xhYIMjTUpsI ///UPDATES/// [1.1] Fixed a bug where looking trough portals on certain walls was impossible. It is no longer possible to avoid death at failiure in room 2. Added an entrance and an exit elevator. Fixed a bug where some panels didn't open correctly. Made the last part a bit easyer by shortening the time it takes to get to the door. Changed the colour of some walls and added some more signage to make the objectives more clear.
