This is a test chamber. Four walls, ceiling and a floor. Good enough for science! This map is mostly constructed from instances, including a custom modified "arrival_departure_transition_ents.vmf" used to handle giving the player the upgraded Portalgun and the ending text. Aside from this, all instances used are stock. Source VMF and modified instance VMF included.

My first portal 2 map. 2 puzzles: -first involves world portals and flinging -second involves a cube and a faith plate This is just for testing some of the new features and to see what the differences are from portal 1 mapping. To update: -Lighting needs to be improved everywhere, a lot. -refining texture placement -first puzzle is cramped, so i'll increase the size.

A quick map made today to test Portal 2's SDK. It is very easy to solve, and I might include this puzzle in a more complicated way in my next puzzle map! Known issues, slime doesn't look very good. Potatos attached even though she shouldn't. Map a little bit to dark for my lighting.

Comes with an example. To use, drag the .extraspatch file onto p2extraspatcher.bat. twppatchgenerator.bat can be used to quickly build .extraspatch files (including thumbnails) for any bsp uploaded to Thinking With Portals.

A gel gun that fires repulsion and propulsion gel. Includes vmf and bsp. Put bsp in steamapps\common\portal 2\portal2\maps Feel free to use in your own maps but please give credit. Left click blue gel right click orange gel Wait a second once the map spawns before moving or the gun may end up held wrong.

Potato Packer is a GUI to BSPzip its like pakrat but this has support for portal 2 maps and pakrat does not. How to use Potato Packer 1. Click on file and select your BSPzip location this is usually located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\alien swarm\bin 2. Click on file and select the map you would like to pack. 3. From the file browsing list ( not in file inside of the actual program itself ) select the files you would like to pack by double clicking it. 4. Click on file and then Create Batch File this will create a batch file inside of the install folder 5. Run the batch file and enjoy your packed in files Known Bugs GUI is jumpy on windows seven I hope you all enjoy the program and packing in custom textures and etc into all of your portal 2 maps.
