[WIP] Geekofalltrades' Portal Map
My first public release; one short test chamber. This map is my first public release (though I've been playing around in Hammer for years). It contains one very short test chamber: place the cube on the button, head up the elevator, and you're done. I released it to get feedback and make sure there aren't any glaring flaws in my mapping technique before I proceed too much further.
[WIP]The Seven Room Banazza
Medium sized map, that rotates. I got this Idea from playing the Rentest. Please read the HowtoInstall txt file included, will save you lots of trouble. I thought it was ready for release, but I got a complaint about falling out of the level and the same with the companion cube (not sure how, never happened to me in my playtesting). I did some editing so there's now less no light source lights, still a few, but not nearly as many, Appeared to have fixed the random location portal problem cause by 90 degree turns when the upright portal is on a brush after it has moved. Did a few re-textures, may or may not be better, but was need to fix the glitch.

Not a really long map, or hard for that matter, but it's my first ever map. Tell me what you think. EDIT: Fixed most of the major problems. 1. Fixed lighting issues. 2. Game can now end. 3. Portal hint HUD is no longer there. 4. Cameras will fall off now. 5. Fixed some of the textures. 6. You now start out of an elevator. 7. Gun pedestal no longer just 'sinks into the ground'.
reepblue's Bonus Challange Maps
Small challange maps by reepblue Yeah, not Blue Portals, but it was.. I had this map in my head way, way before I got Source SDK. I really liked the official Test Chamber 13 because it used all the official portal elements and it had more then two way to solve it. This is not a copy of that map. It was going to be in Blue Portals, but I could not see a fit into it. This should keep you busy while I do other stuff...

And you, if you have played my map. Thanks! To install, follow these steps Open the MTN_PortalMap WinZip with WinRar. Extract the Maps folders to your portal dictionary. C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\\portal\portal If asked to overwrite any thing, say YES. Load up Portal, The map will be in the bonus maps. Play through the maps, the level will change as you get to a certain point. The puzzles get harder as you move on. Once you have completed all 4 maps and have seen the ending the game will disconnect to the main menu for you. If you have encountered any bugs or want to give feedback, feel free to e-mail me. If you are going to edit my creation / use for advertisement or add into it; you must give credit to me and ask for my permission.
