Portal 2
Cube
Description: You wake up in the middle of the cube and have no instructions to make it to the end. This is a fairly small map. When you make it to the end the map should close itself. My first map/first time using any map maker. Instructions: Download the file and follow the instruction inside if you don't know what you're doing. To start: Run portal 2, open console and type in "map cube_v03" Versions: cube: first version, had unintended solution cube_v02: Fixed unintended solution cube_v03: Previous version was missing a portable surface when you enter the final room, sorry! Leave some feedback and comments if you wish. Enjoy!
Currently Unnamed - Underground Theme [UPDATED V1.4]
(Updated to Version 1.4) I'm working on the first of a series of gel puzzles that I will eventually include as one package. This is a more progressed version of the first map. I still need to fix an overlay (the one near the first faith plate, if anyone can help with that), but it's almost done! Please give me feedback! P.S. - The textures have a little break in them on the emancipation grills in the larger room in chamber 2. Hopefully someone will know how to fix this if they check out the .vmf P.S.S. - I have also included my instances (Geodome and Custom Faith Plate)
Tanoshii
This is a fun map, designed to let you enjoy all of the exciting features of Portal 2 in one place! There's no challenge or goal just lots to keep you busy. I will be releasing a Co-op version of the map soon. All feedback is welcome!
Nightgunner5's Extras Patcher
Comes with an example. To use, drag the .extraspatch file onto p2extraspatcher.bat. twppatchgenerator.bat can be used to quickly build .extraspatch files (including thumbnails) for any bsp uploaded to Thinking With Portals.
Problematic
Is it really that time again? I don't mean to imply I've been sleeping on the job, but I might be spending a bit too much time in the new editor. Anyways, you guys deserve a new coop map with all the flood of SP maps coming around. In this test your goal is to get to the exit door, which is right in front of you. Although its not so easy, with three side puzzles to make it to the exit your going to have to use all the tricks you've learned. Also, I have an invisible checkpoint system implemented so you never have to solve a puzzle more then once to get back to its objective if you fail anywhere in the test. Also, just a note, this has never seen the inside of the new editor, this is a pure hammer baby. Screenshots: Video Playthrough (N/A Yet): ---------- Changelog: v0.1 - Release v0.2 - Fixed Some Minor Bugs
Double Gubble
A clean, disorientating, 2-parter of medium/hard difficulty.
Andro Strain
My first mapping attempt, and yes I am aware of a few issues, like unwanted shadows (any help is welcome). This map is my attempt at playing around with different concepts, like a moving laser.
Potato Chips
This will be one of the most visually appealing maps when completed and will have about thirty minutes of gameplay. I've replaced the download of the elevator with one of the working puzzles to be included in the map.
Toinen
Small and simple singleplayer map with simple puzzle made on one night. EDIT: Some updates made. Fizzler now fizzles the cube when reactivated, so it doesn't just disappear magically.
Jump
I think I'm going to stop here and start a new project. Note: You start without a portal gun because the puzzles are designed to be solved without a portal gun. The gun is found later in this map, at which point there are puzzles to solve that require it. Changelog 2.8: Fixed some stuff. Broke some stuff. Added some stuff. 2.3: Added sphere puzzle. Miscellaneous. 2.0: Added transition from introduction area. Added portal gun drop. Added excursion funnel puzzle room. Many tweaks. 1.1: Adjusted lighting. Added ambient noises. Added music. Miscellaneous. 0.9: Added ending sequence. Adjusted triggers. Miscellaneous. 0.8: Fixed arm dynamics. Added more weighted cubes. Changed format from .vmf to .bsp. Miscellaneous.
