Portal 2
Elevator with Extra Skins
(As requested by Lonewolf) This is a default Portal 2 elevator model with 4 skins: Clean with light on, Clean with light off, Dirty with light on, and Dirty with light off. These correspond to skin0-skin3 in hammer respectively. High resolution preview: http://i.imgur.com/PqnpUqf.jpg To install, simply extract the zip to /steamapps/common/Portal 2/portal2/ (The readme basically says all this too) Please credit me for making this if used in a map, and also link me to the map on here because I'd love to see what you make of it
Positive Discouragement - Chamber 03
"Positive Discouragement" is a small map pack that I'm working on. I decided that I might as well upload this to TWP, instead of having it sit around on my computer until I finish all the maps, but I'm not going to upload it to the Workshop until they're all done. So for now, you'll have to do it the old-fashioned way! ====== Everyone wrote:"Hey! What's going on? Where's Chamber 02?" This chamber was going to be the second chamber, and it involved light bridges. I then realized that I'd made a map-breaking mistake in the design and it was impossible to solve. Then I figured something out, but it made the map more difficult. Moreso than the "third" chamber. So this chamber took it's place. The name is still disc_02, and the new Chamber 2 will be disc_03. This may cause a bit of confusion. Sorry about that.
sp_funmap
The map needs proper lighting and another test chamber.
Square of Lah
My second map. It's a co-op puzzle this time that probably requires some time to solve. Any remarks would be very welcome as i do not have that much expirience yet so feel free to give me seome feedback in the comment section. The installation instructions are put in the rar file itself, but they are the same as the ones for most other co-op maps. Good luck and have fun! Videos featuring Square of Lah (spoilers!):
nU3UWcgzaUo

LIDUaM7zRtY

gdX-ayP-Rtg
//Changes/// 1.1: -Added some player clipping walls to prevent you from solving the map in an unintended way. -Made some small changes to prevent confusion 1.2: -Added an introduction text -Added a custom test sign in the beginning of the map 1.3 (version no longer available): -The test chamber sign is now no longer portalable 1.4 (version not working): -Changed the height of some walls in order to prevent exploiting 1.5 -Renamed the file in order to prevent a bug where some users might download an outdaterd version
sp_laser_wall
This map contains a wall of lasers that block a catapult to the exit. Explore the upper regions of the chamber to get the tool required for accessing the exit. Pictures: http://i.imgur.com/2D8aq.jpg http://i.imgur.com/VBnRO.jpg http://i.imgur.com/4za2m.jpg http://i.imgur.com/DZPdX.jpg
Gel Flow Particle Systems
This is a map with a couple of example Gel-Flow Particle Systems. This is how Valve made Gel look like it is flowing through pipes (and curving in them). You can just copy and paste these into your maps, however keep the angles of the info_particle_system's the same to the info_target as this is how it tells which way to curve the Gel. I would suggest you to ignore the different "Control Points" as decompiling a Valve map shows that they only used 1 info_target for 1 particle control system. Searching through the Portal files I couldn't find the name of a water one but I am pretty sure that there is one. If you do find out the name of the particle system, then post a comment below and I will edit this thread.
Project Serenade
Project Serenade is the WIP pre-release of my upcoming Water Temple map. Some of you may remember my previous Legend of Zelda adaptation Forest Temple I wanted to upload this as a WIP to hopefully catch some bugs and get some feedback before releasing the full map. Let me know what you guys think, is the place confusing, are the puzzles hard enough, etc. Things that are not done: - Textures and lighting - The Dark Link encounter - General cosmetic touches - Pesky conveyor belts Things that are mostly done: - Portalable surface locations. I'm watching for exploits, particularly with tractor beams - Most of the puzzles, although some changes may still be made Things that are definitely done: - General structure of the map (I won't be adding rooms or breaking things up) Known issues: - Some elements stop working after dying and reloading, including (but not limited to) tractor beam blocks not moving and particle effects not appearing. Needs further investigation - One of the locks can be circumvented, leaving 1 surplus key. This was actually true in the LoZ dungeon, and as such I won't fix it
FudgePacker 0.4 - With Hammer Intergration.
FudgePacker lets you create a list (or several lists) of files to add to your map, and automatically packs the files you want for each map while it builds. You can now choose which lists to load from inside hammer itsself.
kerplunk
This map is intended to be fairly difficult conceptually. It needs some dynamic moves but hopefully they are fairly easy to execute. v1.1: removed the first level up. fixed a few unintended solutions. v1.2: fixed shortcut on the top level.
acces unlimited
This mappack is very unique because it isnt a single map with a single storyline but it is a hub.Place from where you can visit other chambers and maps. The Acces Unlimited offers you a lot of hours of fun with your friends. You can visit the Turret Manufactory, The Maze and other places. When you bored with this you can just simple leave the hub and enter whole unexplored world of Apereture Science. From here you can visit experimental and special rooms like Universal Room. Finaly, it is the time to think out of the box. (Note:This isnt a playground!). The puzzles have everything what they need. All favorite elements are included. Vacuum cleaner too. If you want to see the gameplay look onto this video which i made with my friend. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-pVI-2VDL8 (friend is talking) Here are some pictures of maps: faces of room0 http://dl.dropbox.com/u/34706273/acces% ... 0room0.jpg faces or room1 http://dl.dropbox.com/u/34706273/acces% ... 0room1.jpg faces of room2 http://dl.dropbox.com/u/34706273/acces% ... 0room2.jpg faces of room3 http://dl.dropbox.com/u/34706273/acces% ... 0room3.jpg no quick moves http://dl.dropbox.com/u/34706273/acces% ... 0moves.jpg choose a chamber http://dl.dropbox.com/u/34706273/acces% ... hamber.jpg hall of dead turrets http://dl.dropbox.com/u/34706273/acces% ... urrets.jpg Please note that this project is still under heavy development, and the hub is just a box it will get desing like the real hub. Not the same but similar. And of course new experimental maps are on the way too. If you are interested you can see more of this map on this page: http://www.moddb.com/addons/acces-unlimited I d like you see your comments or your ideas how to make the map better. And if you found a glitch or bug report it please into comments.(Note: The manufacturing level ends when you open the sealed doors,if you go further you wont be able solve the puzzles because they are unsolvable.) If someone who is interested in portal 2 mapping and would like to help this project, please write it to comments or e-mail me. i realy could use a help with transitions. Installation: The rar folder contains 3 maps. Put them all to your portal2/portal2/maps folder Transitions(traveling betwen maps) in the maps arent functional (yet). So you have to change levels manualy by console. (Note: you can do this by opening console and write: changelevel "name of the map") When you enter the real Hub open a console and enter: changelevel mp_coop_acces_unlimited.bsp And thats it. Thank you for reading and enjoy.
