A quick map of an idea I had I made for old times sake. I use antiquated material, but I did not want to break the Portal 1 feel too much. Enjoy!

A small difficult puzzle for hardcore portal players. Note: As all my maps, this may require rather advanced techniques. v1.1: Removed an unintended feature. v1.2: Removed some more unintended features.

Rememeber from singleplayer how cave johnson was working on phasing out human testing? Well if he had succed it might look something like this. Head through Aperture as Atlas and P-body guided by lines of text that go by the name of Robert. Everything but the spawn and end rooms level choosers portal guns and you is old fashioned. Except for one chamber at the end. Do you guys think I should add another course after the end? CHANGELOG: 1.1intial 1.2added missing maps 1.3fixed map 7

PLEASE NOTE: The filename of the map has changed since the last update, it is not hotel_aperture so take that into account when playing the map Changelog (V 1.4.2) V 1.3: Cubemaps have been correctly built so hopefully no more visual corruption V 1.3.1: Hopefully thanks to HMW's helpful suggestion the cubemap error should be gone for good. V 1.4: Fixed the faith plate animation, radio no longer carries on playing after being fizzled, other small visual tweaks and bug fixes V 1.4.1: Further lighting tweaks V 1.4.2: Eliminated a potential scenario in which players and objects could fall through the aerial faith plate V 1.5: Fixed a couple of exploits and made some visual tweaks

This map is a vast improvement from my previous maps, and thanks to Nautik for all his help. about 40% of this map was helped by from Nautik. anyway this is a 3 chamber map, with easy elements in first chamber. 3rd chamber is i think my best chamber i ever made, but Nautik helped me out with some issues i had in this room. I am sorry if you dont like jumping platforms in 3rd room, but i have now edited the WIP version into this version and you will see that jumping platform part of the puzzle is now much easier (trying not to give any details out to those who didnt see my WIP version As always all comments will be greatly appreciated and i also would hope this map is upto the standards now of the Admins Have fun all and enjoy Ok although i know i am having 2 tiny problems with HDR, some textures are showing odd, and in the 3rd room in the part of the chamber where there is a cube button part of the ceiling is showing very dark, i tried to fix this but this HDR full compiling is making it show dark, so unless i did a normal compile cant find a solution as of yet, but i want to do HDR so will keep it as this for now. (so please dont comment bad for this lol) I will update this version when i find a fix for it , but my map is ready LuckyRJ EDIT: just updated the screenshot

This is my first coop map and my first map in Hammer. All I really did in Hammer was make shredders and make indicator lights and make the coop door at the end. But that is a lot to learn for someone who knows NOTHING about Hammer. Rate and tell me how I did. 08/06/12 EDIT Uploaded the correct file that is solvable and has more light. Sorry for the previous download.

A map I plan on finishing up a lot more and including in Back-Stock I was working on this all the way up until the last minute, I didn't even get time to do a full compile on it. its got some bugs, but I hope you still enjoy also, I swear I "submitted" this like 10 mins before the deadline, it just took a while to upload Bugs I know about but didn't address due to time restrictions: The ride starts a bit jerky The ride may start with a cube really close to you Wheatley has nearly no emotions, and says nothing Wheatley happens to just disappear at the end of the ride The conveyorbelt segments overlap When you load from a quicksave wheatley is off his track Its really dark.. because I didn't do a full compile in the actual chamber: the button doesn't respawn the cube when you loose it, which means you can get stuck the excursion funnel will eat up your cube when you set it to reverse there is some visible nodraw, but it isn't really bad, since it has stuff behind it to draw. the elevator ride goes forever (or until your game crashes) Edit: Now that I see that this is featured, I guess I'll upload a fixed version, where I split the map into 2 bsps because it was so large it couldn't run a full compile on the whole thing
