Please mind your language, I'm going to give you a temporary ban for insulting fellow mappers.

I'm sure there was no malice intended. Although your image was 404ing Caden, so I'm not sure why I'd have anything to do with it; or be a jerk, for that matter.

Lookin nice srs bsnss. I know you to always make great maps. The last picture in the first set looks a tad... Empty. Maybe add some more pipes and ball catchers/launchers along the wall?

Yeah, that's still a WIP area for now. Thanks for mentioning the catchers/launchers, I was looking for something other than ext_arms to put on the outside.

I always wondered how the lifts move about between testing tracks in Portal 2 so I made this for Portal Stories

Off topic but I'd just like to clear up that thing with Caden above; he didn't mean anything by it, and his tone was simply misunderstood. So don't forever see Caden as "that guy", or as a mean-spirited person, because he didn't mean for it to be taken the way it ended up being taken. He even complimented me in the initial post.
So yeah, Caden's a good guy.
/name-clearing.

Back on topic, that's a really interesting thing you've done, wolf. The BTS functions are not something explored to much extent at all, so it's cool when people give explanations like that.

I like it! Can the player ride in it while it's transferred?

That looks so cool. I think it'll look better if the tubes closed to make a 'perfect seal' before the elevator started rising. y'know, to add a touch of realism.

That's probably the best portal sewer I've seen. I haven't seen much, but that's pretty good. I also really like those sprites on the lights. It makes the environment feel wet and humid. Also, are you shooting a projectedtexture through that wall grating or through the ceiling holes? Is this part of a larger map?

It's beautiful! If you're not gonna use it publicly I'd be happy to take it off your hands for you

I'm afraid it'll end up into my chest of unfinished projects

You could always post the vmf as a stylistic reference for maps, if you aren't doing anything with it.

Also that elevator mover reminds me of the pod-movers inside the citadel walls shown at the intro of half life 2 and in the last 2 chapters.

Unity. Here's a gif of another area of the same game, with a little bit of tech-demoing.

Look fancy, maybe it's suitable for an earlier prototype funnel. Have you made an reversed version yet?

The reversed version uses the same texture.

How'd you do that? And, could the same method be applied to light bridges?
