Cage Fling

These 5 chambers range from easy to challenging. They require tricky timing and fast reflexes. Getting progressively more difficult, the first tests prepare you in the concepts used to complete the final two chambers. Requires shooting multiple sets of portals while flying through the air in sync with your coop partner. Notes: This maps destroyed theme maybe potentially be taxing on lower end computers. I am leaving the last puzzle un-detailed for the sake of giving you the most FPS possible. It will be hard enough without lag. Plus, im tired of working on this one Screenshots: http://www.nautikdesign.net/portal2maps ... ize_01.jpg http://www.nautikdesign.net/portal2maps ... ize_02.jpg http://www.nautikdesign.net/portal2maps ... ize_03.jpg http://www.nautikdesign.net/portal2maps ... ize_04.jpg http://www.nautikdesign.net/portal2maps ... ize_05.jpg Video Play-through: http://youtu.be/156vl7Mj77E?hd=1 Changelog: [WIP]v0.1 - Initial WIP Release [WIP]v0.2 - Added quick respawn tubes to chambers 4 and 5 to decrease restart times after failure. [RELEASE]v0.3 - Removed a set of buttons from the final level. They were unnecessary and the fling should still be completed the same way. - Other Minor Changes, Moved from WIP because I am no longer working on it. v0.4 - Fixed Simple bug causing complete breakage of the last level.

This is a 2 Room Testchamber created by using only the PTI for the Map and Hammer f?r the Coop-Entrance and Exit. Once the first Room is solved, there is a shortcut to the second Room for the case that you should die. GLaDOS: "And you will die for shure" Rynax: "shhht, shut up GLaDOS. Guys, i believe in you!" Hope you enjoy the Map with your Partner and leave me some feedback. I am looking forward for your Report. GLaDOS: "I am looking forward to your failure"

Interception is a single-player map featuring a fairly challenging puzzle involving two clean-style chambers, funnel, laser, and light bridge. The puzzle is somewhat more difficult than the official Portal 2 puzzles. There should be 2-3 "AHA!" moments in the puzzle. The solution is not technically difficult to execute. If you find yourself frustrated or performing some stunt repeatedly, you should find an easier way. Remake of Interception with the Perpetual Testing Initiative http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... d=69323011 Major Updates: Version 1.2 fixed a potential scenario where the player can become trapped in a chamber. Version 1.5 added one more "AHA!" moment. Version 1.52 compiled with high dynamic range rendering effects. Version 1.57 added a Rattman den. Version 1.60 added a pool of toxic water. Needless to say, it has major spoiler for the puzzle. The walkthrough also reveals the location of the Rattman den. iC6gZABVU30

ChickenMobile and Lpfreaky90 present to you the first map from our coop series "Portals of Doom and Frienship!". This series is based on the principle of both coop bots having one portal at their leisure and they're linked together. This first map is mostly a training: It's quite easy once you understand the mechanic. More coming soon!

UPDATE: Finally on the workshop - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =341008938 With everyone now testing in other dimensions and GlaDOS occupied with her new little killers Atlas and P-body were getting pretty bored so they decided to wondered off into the unknown and ended up stumbling across the abandoned chambers... 5 parts so far, all focusing around use of funnels with either paint or fling mechanics added into the mix. Many thanks and happy testing!

To begin with we just want to thank everyone here on TWP for your support, you're an amazingly helpful lot! This is something me and StGinger here on the forum has worked on for quite some time. It's consisting of two maps, with five chambers each that will keep you busy for about 2-3 hours, depending on your ability to work together. Our goal with the difficulty was to make it about as hard as the original valve maps, so everyone should be able to enjoy. Since this is our first release we're really looking forward for your feedback. We had never mapped ever before this, but don't be alarmed, we have put an humungus amount of time and effort into this. Quotes from solvers of science: "well done 5/5 for sure" -Willn09 "OH MY GOD! THIS IS FREAKING AWESOME!!!" -lpfreaky90 "This map was outstanding! It took my partner and I about 2.5 hours to go through it." -Tremer "it was like playing a couple hours of DLC quality maps!" -Sicklebrick "this map is beautiful. Absolutely love the the aesthetics." -theprogram00 Thank you and have fun! Warning! Contains Playthrough! For stuck or done participants only! [spoiler]z51OX3F6gmg[/spoiler] New in version 1.1: -Fixed a problem that could occur with a logic_branch_listener New in version 1.2: -Fixed an open observation room witch could be used to exploit a puzzle. New in version 1.3: -Made the last chamber of part two harder. -Fixed some exploits due to unnecessary white texture and source bug. -You can no longer bring cubes around part two. -Fixed a world portal that interfered with a fizzler rendering it useless. -Prevented ninja/hard solutions in several puzzles that may have prevented participants from comming up with the intended one. -Improved framerate in second chamber of part two. -Fixed a possible exploit with the laser in chamber one, part one. -Removed a GLaDOS line which didn't fit in. New in version 1.4: -Made the 4th puzzle in part 2 easier to understand. -Fixed a glass which were portable. -Small esthetic touches. -Added a second or half a second here and there on timers, making some of the puzzles in part one easier to execute. -Put in some helpful spotlights to make stuff (even) more noticeable. -Stepping off one button when both are pressed in last puzzle doesn't turn off the funnel anymore. Big thanks to everyone commenting!

This map is a vast improvement from my previous maps, and thanks to Nautik for all his help. about 40% of this map was helped by from Nautik. anyway this is a 3 chamber map, with easy elements in first chamber. 3rd chamber is i think my best chamber i ever made, but Nautik helped me out with some issues i had in this room. I am sorry if you dont like jumping platforms in 3rd room, but i have now edited the WIP version into this version and you will see that jumping platform part of the puzzle is now much easier (trying not to give any details out to those who didnt see my WIP version As always all comments will be greatly appreciated and i also would hope this map is upto the standards now of the Admins Have fun all and enjoy Ok although i know i am having 2 tiny problems with HDR, some textures are showing odd, and in the 3rd room in the part of the chamber where there is a cube button part of the ceiling is showing very dark, i tried to fix this but this HDR full compiling is making it show dark, so unless i did a normal compile cant find a solution as of yet, but i want to do HDR so will keep it as this for now. (so please dont comment bad for this lol) I will update this version when i find a fix for it , but my map is ready LuckyRJ EDIT: just updated the screenshot

My entry for the 2012 mapping contest. It was a long and hard battle against time, but i have finished it,and i am proud of myself. There were going to be voice lines, but the whole process of adding custom sounds was being finicky, and i was running out of time. So instead, i used a large amount of "Game_Text's", but i will re-post the map when the sounds are working. --Credits-- Myself, Calvin Dvorsky mapped the entire level, came up with most of the test ideas, and well, it's my map Lucas Dvorsky, my awesome bro, for moral support and recording the voice lines which aren't in this version My mother, for lots of support and encouragement to continue in hard times William Jagger, my best friend, for the idea to use Slow Motion, he also was going to be the the voice actor, but he left on vacation without notice... ...Oh yeah, did i mention that I'm 12 years old?
