A small chamber in which you'll need to share the test elements with your coop partner to complete the test. Estimated difficulty: easy to medium. Check post 3 below for a screenshot. Installation as usual: Download the .rar-file. Extract the .bsp-file in it into your Portal2/Portal2/maps folder. Host a coop-game, bring down the console and type "changelevel mp_coop_pti_shareit12". Have fun and drop me a line of feedback! --- Updates: v1.2: Fixed an exploit, a new way to get stuck and some visual things. Many thanks to LpFreaky for finding and explaining those! And of course also for moving this into the Coop-category. v1.1: - Changed the PTI catapult panel for a faithplate - Added a marker panel to make the wall button more obvious - Addes signs to make the laser pits more obvious - Added a laserfield in the funnel area so the players can't get stuck in case they go in there together. - Fixed the heights of the laser pits. - Fixed an unintended solution. [Coop] Atloss
Players are separated by glass. However, each side is equipped with a personal slime pit if you feel like switching it up. I cannot accurately gauge the difficulty. There are no ninja skills required. Changelog 2012/04/10 Fixed some exploits. Added Indicator lights. Added a starfizzler. 2012/04/09 Initial release.
Problematic
Is it really that time again? I don't mean to imply I've been sleeping on the job, but I might be spending a bit too much time in the new editor. Anyways, you guys deserve a new coop map with all the flood of SP maps coming around. In this test your goal is to get to the exit door, which is right in front of you. Although its not so easy, with three side puzzles to make it to the exit your going to have to use all the tricks you've learned. Also, I have an invisible checkpoint system implemented so you never have to solve a puzzle more then once to get back to its objective if you fail anywhere in the test. Also, just a note, this has never seen the inside of the new editor, this is a pure hammer baby. Shredder Pit
This is my first coop map and my first map in Hammer. All I really did in Hammer was make shredders and make indicator lights and make the coop door at the end. But that is a lot to learn for someone who knows NOTHING about Hammer. Rate and tell me how I did. 08/06/12 EDIT Uploaded the correct file that is solvable and has more light. ML's Aperture Offices and Angry Hover Turret Pack
Well, it's been a long while since I uploaded something. And now I completed something special. I decided to create a new enemy after making a "decoration" in a glass case that looked threatening. Aperture Office is the map my adorable little monster was created in (although disabled for safety reasons and to prevent rage quits). Along with the Aperture Office map, I created an instance and a demo map testing out my Angry Hover Turret. It is equipped with two stationary turrets and a tracking laser. I will also release the Angry Hover Turret in the Other Files section that is not packed with Aperture Offices for those that just want the new enemy and the demo map. For more information on the Angry Hover Turret, check the Other Files section. The Aperture Offices map contains black keycards to open doors. Also, air vents are accessible. That's probably the only new content that should be worried about. Have fun with this new map! Known Bugs: The 2nd vent area you run into has a vent cover that has trouble coming off while inside the vent. Jumping while grabbing should allow the player to remove the cover. Strange that I never came across this.
FreakyChicken's Portals of Doom and Friendship prt2
ChickenMobile and Lpfreaky90 present to you the second map from our coop series "Portals of Doom and Frienship!". This series is based on the principle of both coop bots having one portal at their leisure and they're linked together. This map is based off Mass and Velocity course from Valve's coop campaign. You will definitely notice the similarity in these maps. More coming soon!
Genetics
Alright guys, so this is my first proper portal 2 map, with good lighting and everything. Yes, I stole the viewing room instances from PeTI <3. I call this one "Genetics", it's a fairly simple puzzle which requires 2 players to solve it. It's my first released map, and I hope you enjoy.
Compulsive (Version 1.0)
Due to some feedback i decided to release this version of my map in work in progress until i have fixed and sorted a few things out in it. this is a 3 room coop map with some mixed elements. although i find everything to be ok, i need to sort out my 3rd room and make it more better, some dont like platform jumping aspects and neither do i, but i do think this map is pretty good, i will be sorting the skybox out in this and sorting a few other things out too what others have commented on but i would also like to thank Nautik for his help in leading me in the right direction in making better maps hope you like this work in progress release version all comments will be needed so that i can make further edits before i release the final product Thanks LuckyRJ
