Variety - Coop Map
A map made up of various game mechanics. This map is for the game-play value and less of the looks. It still is a good looking map though. MAJOR FIX: The rar has been fixed and contains the real map. Unfortunately this error caused by late night stress may have just cost me the competition. Fix: Forgot to turn paint on in properties.

[beta] gel race tunnel
This is a construction kit for a gel race tunnel coop map. Inspired by the 'Gelocity' map of Raidix. I have worked on serveral prefabs to easilly create an gel race track coop map. We have tested the prefabs serveral times and build up different maps with it. Iam nearly done with the map, but there is big problem with the speed-gel visibility for the person which connects as the client. That's why Iam uploading this map and all of my prefabs + vmfs to WIP-Section. Features: - speed gel race track with jumps, obstacles, portal flinging, jump gel - lap counter, different music, start and finish animations - 2nd player can catch up I really hope someone has time to look into my vmf's and help me to fix some problems: - visibility of the gel for the client - "Catapult launch target not networked to client! This will make prediction fail! Fix this in the map." ('info_target' flag is for client is checked) - "Multiple Lights on a Face at x.y.z" (Iam not good at placing lights) - any other problems? Regards PortalCombat
Portal 2 - E3 Aerial Faith Plate Recreation
I got bored. That's about it. The lighting might suck, and I put my own little spin to it.
Laser Articulation
A Portal 2 singleplayer map with a penchant for articulating lasers in interesting ways.
sp_BetaTestMap1P2Vasek.bsp
Hello everybody, I'm a french mapper and I present to you my first single player portal2 map. It is another beta version, the puzzle will not change in time, only about graphic improvements will be brought. Enjoy ^^
CuButton
This is my first map, a bit messy here and there please tell me what you think. Thanks
Thinking With Stupidity
Description: A small chamber containing two puzzles. One test is based on momentum, the other one is assessing your wits. Think with portals, not with stupidity! Misc: If you want to listen to everything GladOS has to say, make sure to fizzle both cubes at least once. There's a secret, too - can you find it? Theme: Destroyed Aperture Voice Over: Glados Samples (unused & used) Recent Fixes: - A fix has been added to prevent players from finishing the second puzzle using an unintended method. - More details (cosmetical) - A fix has been added to prevent players from trapping themselves by throwing the cube on top of the glas box - Added indicator light for the laser - Added two signs to hint at what some elements actually do - Added some env effects so that some puzzle elements can be found quickly - Fixed an issue with area portals glitching out on lower shader settings - Added a small surprise at the end of the map
[coop] mp_coop_inandout
This coop map features many mechanics found in Portal 2. Funnel, laser, gel, flinging, and so on. There are 3 general testing areas, of which 1 is completely 'outside'. Whenever 1 room is finished, a handy dandy shortcut is opened for your convenience. The theme is mix of clean and behind-the-scenes. This map is submitted for the Summer Mapping Initiative (contest 2011). Current version is a fast compile, due to time limit I had no other option (full compile takes too long). Expect poor performance in some areas. In the meantime a full compile is running...
Cube
Description: You wake up in the middle of the cube and have no instructions to make it to the end. This is a fairly small map. When you make it to the end the map should close itself. My first map/first time using any map maker. Instructions: Download the file and follow the instruction inside if you don't know what you're doing. To start: Run portal 2, open console and type in "map cube_v03" Versions: cube: first version, had unintended solution cube_v02: Fixed unintended solution cube_v03: Previous version was missing a portable surface when you enter the final room, sorry! Leave some feedback and comments if you wish. Enjoy!
