Every puzzle in this level revolves around using the speed and jump gels. This is the second level in a series of 5. Fun With Gravity Fun With Funnels - (Community Roundup) Version 1.1: Made a change to the second room Took the files out of the vpk Version 1.2: Reverted room two back to its original form. Moved faith plates in room three to the center of the room, so the player does not land on them. Version 1.3: Removed the vpk file.

As the name implies, this is intended to be a middle map in a map pack (eventually). For right now, just a couple of puzzles to solve. Hope you enjoy! Map file is sp_laser_funnel_1_0 Install in Steam>steamapps>common>portal2>portal2_dlc1>maps (If this doesn't work, try common>portal2>portal2>maps)

update Momentum v_5 Fixed issues: - The gel doesn?t leak through the floor/ceiling (Thanks Mr. P. Kiwi!) - Removed that "hover in mid-air behaviour" from both lasers in room 1 (Thanks pedmacedo!) - Cube can?t be retrieved after increasing the counter anymore (Thanks Seizure22!) - Corrected the ?type mismatch? for the fizzler in room 2 (Thanks pfalstad!) ________ update Momentum v_4 Will add a detailed list of fixes later on... (Should fix all issues mentioned in the thread.) ________ [SP] Momentum v_3 First of all I?d like to thank all of you who have contributed to the WIP thread and to Demonz312 for his ramp instance (which you can find here: panel Stairs+instances). Very special thanks to NuclearDuckie and josepezdj who have not only playtested this map but also made many suggestions to solve several issues and had great ideas for improving some puzzle elements. As a first map this was quite ambitious and I should have started with a smaller one. However, despite the fact that it took way too long, it was fun making it and learning Hammer. As I?ve written in the WIP thread especially the first puzzle element is about angle, timing and of course ?Momentum?. It also has two new custom elements. An anti-player and an anti-cube laser field. The first denies the player but allows the cube whereas the second one works the other way around. At first I used env_lasers to make those laser fields but then found a better, less expensive way using func_brushes with ?abused? textures. Hope you like it... __________ Screenshots: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/7656 ... reenshots/ __________ Please do not rename the bsp-file, else you would have to rebuild the cubemaps properly which would cause an increase in file size, thank you! I made this with the first custom maps I downloaded and wondered at some ugly reflections __________ Known issues: - One of the brush entities is ceiling and floor at the same time with a gel dropper above. The gel can be seen (leaking) through it (any ideas???). - The cube in the first test chamber might get stuck under a panel. I was only able to solve this problem rather clumsily but it should work. - Due to the random nature of func_physboxes in motion, you might get stuck when moving among them and rigid elements. This only happened once to me, yet I thought I should mention it. - There?re also parts in this map which require to crouch and move through small openings; I can assure you that I adhered to the minimum measures for height and width, however josepez told me of some problems which might occur due to a corrupt dll-file. In that case you should check that first. - I liked a custom env_laser element I made much better with end sparks but they were visible through other func_details and walls (again, any ideas?).

So i have been working on some kinda horror map... So the idea is: You just escaped from GLaDOS and now you are walking around in the observation rooms, trying to get out. You notice that she got a new test subject. You get flashbacks from the tests the person is doing. This is not a hard testing map. Only made for creeping you a little... Put on your headphones or turn up you volume a little. Go explore. Maybe you find small eastereggs... (I haven't finished up the eastereggs yet.) There is both a winning and a losing way... Now go explore the back of Aperture... Enjoy

Thinking with Companion Cubes This map involves new toys to solve puzzles with like.. The Portable Bullet Proof Shield Device The Portable Gel Expelling Device The Portable Laser Emitting Device The Portable Wall The Portable Catapult Device The Portable Ramp The Portable Bridge Dispensing Device The Portable Bomb Exploder Device The Portable Monitor & Cam The Portable Flying Device The Portable Excursion Funnel Shooting Device ... and more to come : ) This was basically a test to bring new elements into Portal 2. Also included is a playground map with all of these inventions. Let me know what you think : ) --- use a steady hand when carrying these devices they may get out of control //Fixed
a bug with the Excursion Funnel turning off prematurely if you are not holding on forward as you go up it. It should now turn off even if you are not holding down on forward.
//also added the vmf file as per request

A pretty small but tricky puzzle for hardcore portal players. Note to solver: This is not a puzzle in which you will be held hand through, but if you think a move is next to impossible, it probably is and there will be an easier to execute solution for you to find. v1.2: You can no longer walk on the fizzlers. v1.3: Some minor changes and bugfixes. v1.4: Added some hints. v1.5: Removed the x mark the spot. Added some portal bumpers. v1.6: Fixed some minor leaks.

A single medium difficulty chamber in clean style. My third map uploaded to ThinkingWithPortals.com. Feedback is appreciated. Version 1.1: -Removed a section of white wall that allowed for unintended early access to a cube dropper button. -Minor visual corrections.

A series of challenging puzzles that provide brand new ways of using the Portal 2 elements. If you can solve this puzzle in less than ten minutes, consider yourself a genius. If you cannot solve the puzzles, here is a video playthrough. Of course, it has spoiler for the puzzles. WsTbsKLXmyI

Sentry Point is my first release. I estimate it to be of about medium length and difficulty. I have also included a vmf in case any designers would like to give some critic tips.
