This is my first Portal 2 map. It's a clean map with three chambers and testing elements such as cubes, buttons, discouragement beams and turrets. Feedback is appreciated. Please note that the map file is a .vpk file which isn't installed the same way as a .bsp file. Please take your time to look at the readme even if you know how to install the map (otherwise, things might go very wrong). v 1.0 -release v 1.1 -put first fizzler in chamber 1 higher up -changed the faith plate in chamber 3 (puzzle is a bit different)

Based off the principle of my first map, this one requires mouse accuracy quick portalling and speedy thinking. SPECTATE THE MAP BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO CREATE YOUR PATHS THROUGH THE LEVEL AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE YOU MUST SPECTATE OR NOCLIP THROUGH THE MAP, AS IT REQUIRES NEAR CONSTANT MOTION AND PREMADE DECISIONS This map has a Timer for speedrun purposes. Once you reach the end a digital timer is displayed with the amount of time it took you to complete the level once you stepped off of the platform where you spawned Since people did not like teleportation from my last map I removed it and just made every pit or floor a trigger_hurt. All pits except for required parts kill players. So Don't mess up on an important part! Thanks for your constructive criticism on my last map and I hope you all try this one out as well P.S. THE LARGE FILE SIZE IS DUE TO THE TREMENDOUS SIZE OF THE LEVEL. Since most of the level is acrobatics it requires large rooms and ever larger jumps.

This map is a joint-effort between myself, Shawy89 and iWork925. This is my very first map, iWork is an experienced mapper making this map of a professional standard. The basic mapping and all puzzle elements were done by me. iWork took care of aesthetics, details, lighting, indicator lights and some complex mapping. Be sure to report an bugs that you may find in the forum. Thanks for testing!

A one room fairly advanced puzzle. 1.4: A small change to remove an unintended solution. 1.5: Added some target helpers and removed yet another unintended solution.

Up and Down: a Portal 2 Custom Map by Mplayer Version 1: Release Version 2: Add autosave triggers; Add warm glass lights; Add cubemaps; Fix an altarnative solution found by Djinndrache; And other little things; Version 3: Add music with ambient generic Add some lines with ambient generic Add cameras Add custom sign textures Fix an alternative solution found by me This is my first real map in portal 2. I know lighting sucks but I sure use some tips. Also feedback needed. If you find another way pls comment or better post a video as you can see my english it`s not really good. Any help will be appricieted. How to install: Extract the .vpk file to your addons directory located in steam/steamapps/common/portal 2/portal2/addons. If there is no folder called addons just create one.Once in portal 2, go to your console by pressing the ~ key (enable it under keyboard options if you haven't) and type "map sp_upanddownV3" without quotes.

This map was inspired by Rube Goldberg machines. There are basically two parts: opening the door and getting through the door. There are at least two ways to do Part 2. I'd love to hear what you guys think about it. Please let me know what you thought of the difficulty and if it took a short, medium, or long amount of time to finish. .vpk files go in the "portal 2/portal2/addons" folder. Do "map ReactionPit" in the game. Also, check out my web site about game development and graphics coding at http://www.dissidentlogic.com.

This puzzle-heavy map is set in multiple conjoined rooms to make it appear like the clean facility from Portal only with a lot of the new features and textures (gels, funnels, etc). It's designed to start of relatively simple but get much more challenging as you progress.
