Try Anything Twice laser "SDK"

This is a demonstration and prefab collection of the laser mechanism featured in my "Try Anything Twice" map pack. It is similar to Valve's "thermal discouragement beam" in that it will travel through portals and it also includes the redirection (lens) cubes seen in the Portal 2 trailers. It is primarily aimed at map designers who want to include a similar mechanism in their maps. (Adequate mapping experience and familiarity with complex entity I/O setup is required.) Please read the included readme.txt file for usage instructions. You'll need 7-zip to extract this file.

Tired of Cold Test Chambers? Warm it up with these Warm Textures I made A while back to test out lighting and fog. But since I have no time to make working test chambers I uploaded warm textures to spice up the mapping community, Free to use. Include -Wall texture -Floor Texture -Checkerboard Floor Texture -Ceiling Texture -Line indicators (For those who hate lining up the circles on Portal's) Experiment with these textures. -reepblue

APERATURE'S FIRST LUNAR SPACE TEST Transverse an exceedingly hard map with no direction, lots of traps and deadly...traps. Also lasers. save after every step. you will die a lot, and get stuck a lot. This map will be refined for future use.

This is a continuation of my previous map.The first chamber is pretty much done. THE DOOR ON THE LEDGE IS THE END, FOR NOW. refrain from voting until finished if you would plase Rules of timetravel (In this map) 1. Portals do not persist through time 2. Objects can be brought back from the future, when placed in the immediate lit up zone 3. Objects cannot be taken to the future 4. Objects will persist through time, what is there in the past will be there in the future (For now, only in certain places that is goal-related as it's an butthole to code) Any suggestions or input, wel anything at all really is appreciated

Okay so first off if you downloaded this exact thing off of a place called "Thinkingwithportals.com" by a user under the name of "Wilbo" then he stole this from me! I did not take this from him! I spent quite a bit of time on this so as it says below....DO NOT REUPLOAD WITHOUT PERMISSION! My sounds have distinct difference from any other sounds because of the editing program I use. So don't be a Wilbo and respect the fact I want to keep my work as mine. I will be uploading it to myApertureLabs.com AND Thinkingwithportals.com to avoid any more stealing from happening. Thank you and please enjoy the sound mod. Now to what's inside the sound mod Blue Portal Firing sound Orange Portal Firing sound Portal Opening sounds Going through a Portal sounds Exiting a Portal sounds Original post: http://www.fpsbanana.com/sounds/12530 I will release a final version once valve releases Portal 2 (yes you have to wait a a few months for a perfect sound mod) As I always say: DO NOT REPLOAD WITHOUT PERMISSION! Credit goes to: Valve For the Original sounds and games RubyCarbuncIe For editing the original sounds from the trailer.

Preface
This is my first map for anything in quite a long time. Please give me any feedback and constructive criticism you can think of. I'll likely add a bit more personality to it as it gets refined, but for now this is only meant to be a working concept. I'm hoping this is working as intended, playable, and hopefully a bit of fun too!
Get ready for a rousing game of Portal Tennis! Well... its more akin to volleyball, but I really... don't give a damn. The object of this game is to make the Edgeless Safety Cube fall to your opponents floor. Press the button to serve, and use the panels on the back wall to fling the safety cube! You have 10 different panels to aim with. The bottom ones fling short, and the top ones fling long. Play to whatever arbitrary point value you see fit, or claim "next point wins!" when you are feeling lucky. "Please keep in mind that the back wall panels are equipped with state-of-the-art "Cube Accelerators" that our lab boys thought up just the other day. Remember: Do not, under any circumstances, stand in the way of a cube while it passes through an Accelerator. You will be maimed. We will laugh."
