Map
remmizchamber3
Third installment in the Remmiz Chamber series. After quite a long break from mapping, (school, internship, etc.) I have finally finished Remmiz Chamber 3. It's a lot longer than any of the previous maps and is a Companion Cube orientated level. Download, have fun and let me know what you think!
sp_club1
My first (and untitled) map. I dont have much of an artistic eye, so it's nothing stunning in the way of lighting, different textures, props, etc. Being my first map, I just focused on it being functional and here it is. The first large chamber is something of a free-form solution. I know of at least 3 different ways to solve it, so have fun with it and you may not need all available test elements. Also, in this room, the white ceiling panel is portalable, you just have to be at the proper angle for it. I shouldve added a portal placement helper on this surface but I didnt learn about them till after I uploaded this. Happy to hear feedback / exploits, etc. Thanks for taking the time to play it!
sp_heavy_reuse
Single player map of intermediate difficulty. Returning to multiple rooms and lots of object reuse required for puzzle solving. There is more than one way to solve this map, using different numbers of cubes. Standard solution: solved with 3 cubes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Br5-tjsIpk challenge: solved only using the reflector cube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EG-gc6aApGk
pl_fling
The map is focusing on jumping and "flinging". pl_fling -------- Portal Bonus-Map created by Clemens Description ----------- This is my first and probably only portal map. It may not be perfect, but I think it's very well tested and fun playing. The map is focusing on jumping and "flinging". It contains one or two ideas I haven't seen in other maps so far. I tried to make all the jumps very fair and not too difficult. Installation ------------ 1. Extract the files in the zip file 2. Run Portal 3. Import the bmz-file from the bonus map list 4. The map (pl_fling/pl_fling) appears in the list 5. You can delete the bmz-file now
The Part Where Everything Goes to Hell Sample Map
This is one of my maps from my WIP MapPack "The Part Where Everything Went To Hell." I choose this particular map because it wasn't too easy or too hard to solve even though the level is a bit on the short side. Please let me know if you are have trouble playing this map so I can make corrections to it. BTW there are also 2 easter eggs in the map.
The Room (Precision, Timing, and Solving)
UPDATED for competition! v2 should be a more interesting play. This intentionally awesome title gives very little away, and leaves all the surprises of THE ROOM for the player to experience. It is worth mentioning that the idea for this map came from: (1) having the player start at what looks like the end, (2) making the player navigate backwards through testchambers [which appear partially solved], and (3) having the player get to what should be the "beginning", and then solve his/her way to the end. [Thus, some portions have much activity going on, and part of the challenge is to determine which puzzle element belongs to which 'direction.'] There is an emphasis--at times, without making it too difficult--on precision and timing, but I'd like to think that The Room is as satisfying, if not more, to figure out. Note: the file that I am submitting for the competition is 'the_room_v2.rar'. The other file is the original one I had included to be playtested, which will still remain--but it is NOT my official submission. If necessary to avoid confusion, I will take it down. EDIT: I must have uploaded the new file to REPLACE the old file. For anyone interested, the old map can be found at: community-releases/the-room-t2984.html

This is my third card. Please leave your comments. Waiting for an objective critic. Version 2
Funnel and Cube
This is the first proper puzzle I've finished. It was kind of an exercise for me to learn the tools and practice basic puzzle design than something serious, but I thought I'd post it anyways. It's super short and not very difficult, but any pointers or comments would be greatly appreciated! I'm new at this.
For Old Times Sake
A quick map of an idea I had I made for old times sake. I use antiquated material, but I did not want to break the Portal 1 feel too much. Enjoy!
